Beware of the Dragons!

Hello everyone!

Over the next few weeks, we will be looking at dragons in English.  We will be writing non-chronological reports about them and looking at poems about dragons.

Do you ever wish you were a dragon?  Find out what kind of a dragon you would be using the link below and tell us about it!  What would you be called?  Where would you live?

http://www.playbuzz.com/kattw10/what-type-of-dragon-are-you

Design your own dragon using the links below.

Now write a few descriptive sentences in our blog to tell us what your dragons were like.   What does it look like?  Where does it live?  What does it eat?

Hope you have a roaring great time!

Christmas is coming!

Hello everyone!

In R.E., we have been learning about Advent, making a class Advent calendar and we will also be visiting a church on Friday to find out about other Christian traditions.  We also heard the story of Babouska – the Russian version of Santa Claus!

I am challenging you to find out about Christmas traditions from other countries.  What do they do?  How do they celebrate?  What do the traditions mean?  Find out about a Christmas tradition in a different country and write about it below to teach everyone else!   These websites are useful to help you find out information.

There will be certificates for the best post.  I will look forward to reading your research!
